Gambling is a sport as old as mankind itself and has always offered tempting opportunities for people to make easy money by predicting the happening of a certain outcome. Mostly associated with sporting events betting was an opportunity for the moneyed class to indulge in their excesses. It was thrilling to see that the horse they had bet on win. Some examples of early betting are bets on bullfights, horses and wrestling. Horse racing bets were on Arabian horses in the Middle Eastern countries.
