In the 2010 Cigar Mile, longshot Jersey Town got up in the final strides to win by a head over Haynesfield with Girolamo a half length back in third. Also on the card, No Such Word won the Gazelle Stakes by 2 1/2 lengths over Awesome Maria. Get the results, charts, and photos here.

Champion race mare Zenyatta has been retired as of November 17, 2010. She ended her career with a record of 19 wins and one second in 20 lifetime starts and total earnings of $7,304,580. She will go to Lane’s End Farm in Kentucky but no plans for breeding her have been announced.
